Welcome to my travel blog

Good evening everyone,

Since self-publishing the first book in the series of Weird, Wondrous & Historic Pubs of the United Kingdom back in September 2019, I haven't stopped researching, writing and visiting more fascinating public houses to feature in Part II. Running side by side to this is also a Yorkshire Edition which I am currently working on and if everything goes to plan, it should be available to buy on Amazon next year. Part II is going to take a little longer to finish as pubs will be featured across the whole country and travelling outside of England has proved quite tricky since last year due to the pandemic but trips are in the pipeline for 2022 to London, Scotland and Northern Ireland which will further flesh out the book as I'm wanting to feature even more pubs than the previous volume.

Since work started on Part II towards the end of 2019, I have managed to tick off a number of English counties, including; Cornwall, Kent, Wiltshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire and Norfolk. I even went a little further afield and paid a visit to the Isle of Man to see a pub which will be included and even though the Isle of Man is not part of the UK, I thought it would make an interesting, one-off feature piece.

Well, that's all there is for now but please do keep coming back to see where I get to on my travels over the coming weeks and months to the most weird, wondrous and historic pubs in the United Kingdom.
